Abstract

In this paper we address the transmit strategy design for a full-duplex (FD)
one-way relaying system which operates in decode-and-forward (DF) mode. Our study starts with defining a system model which encompasses the limits of a FD system to overcome its own loopback self-interference. Afterwards we present a design strategy for the defined system focusing on the case with availability of the perfect channel state information (CSI) at all nodes. Furthermore, we generalize our solution to the case with erroneous CSI following the max-min design approach. In the end the proposed methods are evaluated via numerical simulations and the destructive effect of CSI error in the loopback channel is observed.
