Cyclostationary Spectrum Sensing
Cyclostationary feature detection is one possibility to improve the detection probabilities in spectrum sensing. Based on the OFDM Testbed we implemented a Cognitive Radio enabled communication link where the receiver can determine certain signal parameters based on intentionally embedded cyclostationary features. The transmitter alters the subcarrier structure of the transmitted OFDM signal in a specific way in order to embed information about the occupied bandwidth and the modulation scheme that is used. The features are also used for carrier frequency acquisition.
