Realistic Network Simulation for the Development of Algorithms for cooperative driving

Abstract:

In this thesis, a bi-directional coupling between the development framework ROS (Robot Operating System) and the discrete network simulator OMNeT++ using Client-Server architecture and Transport Control Protocol interface is developed. Using this interface, data transmission between processes is synchronized and different algorithms for optimizing the data transmission are studied and implemented.
